Easter 2024
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter this year! We celebrated with friends and family at an amazing party hosted by my sweet cousin. A traditional ham and all the fixings. It was truly a smorgasbord! The desserts were really cute. Handmade pastel chocolates and a cake topped with edible flowers!
After an early dinner the fun and games began.
The Hunt
Eggs galore! The kiddos had their own special hunt with candies, toys, and cash! My niece found the golden egg this year filled with the big bucks! Then the adults had their own hunt with eggs full of lotto tix, beef jerky, makeup and even little bottles of 'festive' beverages!
Mini-Session
After the hunt, the man of the hour visited the kiddos (and adults) for some pictures with the bunny! My awesome nephew stepped into the suit for the first time and he did an incredible job. He is now our official bunny for the years to come. The crowd loved him and there was no fear among the littles this year! Lots of high fives and smiles! Mr. Bunny's mom definitely had to take a pic on his lap. Oh how the tables have turned!
I decided to use my photoshop skills on a few photos changing up the backgrounds to give them some individuality.
The Games
If the egg hunts weren't enough competition, the games really turned it on. My 'hostess-with-the-mostess' cousin came up with some hilarious activities to entertain us all. From tossing Cheetos onto your partners shaving cream covered head, to trying to pin the bunny tails on each other, the competition was fierce. Our last game before the sun set was a real balancing act. Partners passed off eggs on a wooden spoons and raced to the finish line to toss the egg in the basket. It was a photo finish!
